Veronica Atef was born in Cairo in 1991 and spent most of her life growing up in Luxor.
She earned her degree from the Faculty of Law at South Valley University. Early on, she realized that legal practice was not the path she wanted to pursue, which led her to explore opportunities that matched her interests and strengths.
Her professional journey began in 2010 while she was still at university. At the age of 18, she started training and working in the tourism and hospitality industry to gain practical experience and develop an early understanding of the workplace.
She began her career in smaller hotels before joining Steigenberger Luxor in 2012, then moved to Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa, where she worked until 2018.
After marriage, she relocated to Sohag and started a new chapter in the education sector. She worked for one year as a Senior PR at an international school before taking a career break to focus on raising her child.
She later returned to the workforce and joined St. George Language School as a School Coordinator, a role she continues in today.
Throughout her journey, her passion for soft skills, workplace culture, and professional growth remained constant.
In May 2026, she launched Viky Talks Business to share practical insights on workplace etiquette, communication skills, and building a stronger professional presence.
Veronica believes that diverse experiences create growth, broaden perspective, and inspire others to build their own career paths.
